When you have to get your rental car from Kirkenes, Norway all the way to Narvik in a couple days, what do you do? Do what I did – plan… [keep reading]
Today was one of the absolute top highlights of this trip, and besides that, a pretty good day of blood sugars. Until the end, anyway. Today we drove along a… [keep reading]
The good news was that today I had a bunch of cool experiences in and around the far northeastern Norwegian city of Kirkenes, not far from the borders with Finland… [keep reading]
DAY 131 – The European trip over, Masayo and I flew from Bodø, Norway to Atlanta, Georgia on a series of three flights that took all day. My BG lingered in the 190s most of the day, but that's not bad for a day of no sleep and long flights and no exercise. [keep reading]

DAY 124 – A day of airplanes led us from Croatia back to where the trip began — Scandinavia. This time it was Trondheim, Norway. My BGs were pretty good all day, considering the usual stress of flying. [keep reading]
